What this is about
Premium teams can upload their own team logo and passport photos of their players. Every player sees these pictures, for example in the tables, in the spy and in the line-up. That is why a few simple rules apply to them.
What you may upload
Only pictures you hold the necessary rights to, for example:
- Pictures you drew, designed or photographed yourself.
- Pictures whose author allowed you to use them, or pictures under a free license that permits such use.
- Photos of yourself or of people who agree to it.
You need no rights for our ready-made club crests. You can pick one in the settings at any time.
What is not allowed
- Logos of real clubs, leagues or associations as well as brands and company logos, unless you are expressly allowed.
- Pictures from the internet, social networks or picture agencies without the permission of the author.
- Photos of real athletes, celebrities or other people without their consent.
- Violence, pornography, extremism, insults, discrimination or other illegal content.
Stadium names
Premium teams can give their stadium a name. It appears in the live game and in the game report of every home game. The same rules apply to it: no insults, nothing offensive or illegal and no names of real clubs, arenas or brands.
You report a stadium name just like a picture. If it breaks the rules, we delete it. The team gets a message in its office and plays in its "Home stadium" again.
The same applies to team names: if you rename your team, do not choose the name of a real club or a brand. The game management can change such names.
Your responsibility
With the tick when uploading you confirm that you hold the rights to the picture and that it shows no logos, brands or people of others without permission. We do not check pictures before they are published.
You allow us to store and display the picture free of charge for as long as it is used in the game. We do not use it for anything else.
If someone makes claims against us because of a picture you uploaded, you indemnify us against these claims and the reasonable costs of legal defense, insofar as you are responsible for the infringement.
Reporting a picture
Does a picture infringe your rights or these rules? As a player you report it with the link “Report picture” at the bottom of every page in the game or in the team card that opens when you click a team name. Name the team, the picture and the reason.
Rights holders without an account write to us at info@idgv.info. Please name the team, the picture, your rights to it and how we can reach you.
What happens next
- We check every report promptly and by hand.
- If a picture breaks the rules, we remove it. The player gets a message in the office with the reason and what led to the decision. Their team then shows the club crest or the default logo.
- Whoever reported it learns our decision by message.
- Anyone who breaks the rules repeatedly or seriously can no longer upload pictures. In serious cases we block the account under our terms.
- If someone misuses the report function and keeps sending obviously unfounded reports, we may stop processing their reports for a while.
If you disagree
You can object to any decision within six months. Write to us at info@idgv.info and give your team no. We will then review the decision again. Your right to go to court is not affected.
